Turning the Instagram Grid into a website-like experience.

As a part of an Instagram strategy for CommandDot, I designed an interactive website-like experience by utilizing the Instagram Grid and Carousels.

Since we did not have the bandwidth as a team to post regularly, we wanted to utilize the Instagram Grid to be used as website experience. This would give account visitors a way to quickly view CommandDot's features and tap into what interests them from a high-level view.

Each grid post has a corresponding carousel behind a swipe that goes further into detail about the section it is housed within. To make this clear and obvious, I added finger-tap touchpoint indicator icons throughout the grid to encourage taps throughout each section.

The design also utilizes the Instagram account feed scroll in the Colors section which prompts the user to scroll up/down to view the color's light/dark mode when viewing a selected color.
